Development Program Manager
Interop is looking for qualified Development Program Managers to help take our various offerings to the next level. This position comes with it the responsibility of managing a team of Software Engineers on one of our product lines. Each Development Product Manager will report directly to the Director of Software Development.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Leading a team of Software Engineers on new product development initiatives, including management of project timelines and deliverables.
- Becoming a domain expert on one of the core product lines, acting as the technical liaison to other departments within the organization.
- Proposing and coordinating the implementation of enhancements to existing products
- Working with various other departments to coordinate the deployment of software releases into the production environment.
- Collaborating with the Director of Software Development on a variety of process improvement initiatives.
Candidates are required to have:
- Exposure to some combination of C/C++, Ruby, Perl, or Java.
- Familiarity with the wireless industry.
- Architectural and database design experience.
Preferred Skills and Education:
- A BS or MS in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related field.
- Experience in managing a team of Software Engineers.
- 5+ years experience in Software Development
