Handset Software Developers
Interop is looking for qualified, motivated personnel for our handset products engineering team. The successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong programming skills, and exceptional problem solving abilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Create mobile applications compliant with multiple handset manufacturers and U.S. wireless operators.
- Extend Interop Technologies network-based applications into the handset space.
- Execute projects on time and on budget in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong candidates will possess:
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 2-4 years mobile software development experience in either Java or C/C++.
- Working knowledge of the BREW platform, being an Authenticated BREW developer is a plus
- Experience in a product environment with a variety of manufacturers
- Working knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Familiarity with SQL, experience with MySQL a plus
- Ability to positively and proactively interact with other team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities
- A strong desire to learn new technology
