José Antonio (Tony) Mijares, Senior Vice President of International Sales, brings more than 30 years of telecommunications management experience to Interop. Tony oversees Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, with a focus on new business development. Prior to joining Interop, Tony was Vice President of Sales for Airvana’s CALA market, where he focused on new business development for EVDO (Evolution-Data Optimized) infrastructure and market development of femto cells. He also was responsible for channel sales development with Nortel Networks and Ericsson, as well as carrier demand creation for wireless broadband data in Latin America. Throughout his career, Tony has worked for numerous wireless operators and telecommunication companies, including Nortel, where he held the position of Vice President New Business Sales, Latin American Division.

Fred Farrell currently leads Interop Technologies’ North American sales team, drawing on more than 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Fred possesses extensive knowledge of the company’s solutions, as well as a thorough understanding of the wireless industry from the operator and vendor perspectives. He is involved in all aspects of the sales process, including customer relations, contract negotiations, and sales and solutions training. He also works with third-party vendors and partners to establish relationships that benefit clients. Previously, Fred held positions in product development, retail management, and B2B sales at Wireless One Network. Earlier, he worked in the financial services industry as an investment and insurance broker. He is a licensed stock broker.

Eddie DeCurtis brings more than 16 years of hands-on wireless experience to his role at Interop Technologies. As Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Eddie is responsible for new business development in the region. He has worked internationally for nine years and spent six years focusing on technical sales solutions and business development. Previously, Eddie served as Vice President International Technical Sales/Global Solutions for an international wireless services provider. He helped negotiate million-dollar deals with clients, including MetroPCS, China Mobile, Korea Telecom, China Unicom, Telefonica and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL). He led Asia-Pacific market development efforts that resulted in customer relationships and long-term partnerships with SingTel, China Unicom, China Mobile, Hutchison, SK Telecom, and KDDI. In addition, he led a global re-launch of Iris Wireless, which increased SMS connectivity by 200 percent and lowered operational costs by 25 percent. Eddie also served as International Technical Director of VeriSign Inc. and held key positions at GiantBear, @Mobile, and MetroMedia International in Vienna, Austria.

Linda Pallone joined Interop Technologies in March 2009 as Assistant Vice President of Sales, focusing on Tier 1 wireless providers. Most recently, she was Regional Vice President of Sales for Syniverse Technologies, where she managed business solutions for AT&T Wireless and was recognized in the Syniverse President’s Club for Outstanding Performance. Linda began her career in 1990 as Area Sales Director for GTE Telecommunication Services. In 1996 she joined Boston Communications Group Inc. (BCGI) as the Executive Director of Business Development, where she was responsible for managing client relationships, including Cingular Wireless, Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile, and Disney Mobile.

Chris Dwyer joined Interop Technologies as the Director of Sales to further the company’s international and domestic sales efforts. He brings more than 18 years management expertise and strategic direction in wireless to the company. Chris is responsible for new customer acquisition and overseeing current sales processes of customer relations, contract negotiations, and product training. Previously, he was President of Qualicom Systems, a public safety radio systems engineering and technology integration firm. He also has held positions with Cellular One/Wireless One, including Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, Regional Manager, and Market Manager. While at Cellular One/Wireless One, Chris’ markets were recognized as top performing in customer service year after year and remained the leaders until the company was sold to AT&T in 2000.

Highly experienced in the wireless and data markets, Fram Reyes is responsible for Latin American sales for Interop Technologies. He focuses on helping telecommunications operators in the Caribbean and Latin America deliver value-added services. Previously, Fram served as Regional Sales Director at Telular Corp., where he managed the America Movil and Telefonica accounts in the Central American and Caribbean markets. Earlier, he achieved sales success in promoting new brands in the region for technology companies, including Sound Solutions Americas, QWireless, and CycleLogic Mobile Solutions. Fram spent 11 years at Nortel Networks, where he won the Nortel President Award for Customer Satisfaction and rose to Account Manager for Wireless and Unified Networks. In this position, he focused on developing and implementing products for Latin American wireless networks, as well as obtaining favorable financing terms for customers.

George A. Ivanenko Espinola joined Interop in December 2008 as the Director of Sales for South America. He is responsible for new customer acquisition and business development in South American markets. Prior to joining Interop, George was General Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at Aicent Inc., where he managed the sales strategy, account management, marketing, and forecasting for the company’s wireless and messaging product lines. During his 21-year tenure in the telecommunications industry, he held sales and management positions at BSG Clearing Solutions, MACH AMERICAS, GTE TSI (currently Syniverse), Celwave (currently RFS), NEC do Brasil, and Batik.
