The company also announced that  Porfirio M. Suarez, InterOP Technologies Director of Business Development, Caribbean and Latin America, will open a regional office in Mexico.

Suarez has 15 years experience with the wireless industry in Latin America, and has occupied different management positions in engineering, product management, marketing, business development, and sales. As Director General of AMCEL, the Mexican Cellular Association, Suarez played an active role in the implementation of national and international roaming, and directed the establishment of ALACEL.

Suarez has been involved with the Mobile Satellite Industry, working for Globalstar, ICO Global Communications, Iridium, Stratos, and is a past Chairman of the GSM Association Satellite Interest Group. Suarez has an Electrical Engineering degree, an MBA, and post graduate specialization courses in Telecommunications.
