Wireless Operators Benefit from New Revenue Opportunities,

FORT MYERS, FL.— Oct. 23, 2007—Interop Technologies, a leading provider of advanced wireless technology solutions, announces commercial availability of its Digital Entertainment Solution. This solution combines all the content, billing, and technology capabilities required for wireless operators to deliver a wide variety of content to their customers. It also helps create new revenue streams for operators by expanding the types of devices to which content can be downloaded.

With the Digital Entertainment Solution, prepaid and postpaid customers can use their phones and personal computers to buy downloads including full-track music, albums, and music videos. They can also purchase conventional ringtones, wallpapers, games, and additional types of content. The service rolls out with music and video downloads for computers, as well as with over-the-air truetones and images. OTA, full-track music downloads are planned for later in 2007.

The Digital Entertainment Solution dramatically expands revenue opportunities for operators by enabling customers to download content to their phones and their PCs. In addition, the new solution provides operators with an alternative to existing content applications. Customers do not need to leave the wireless operator’s Web site to purchase content for their PCs. Since all content purchases are billed to the customer's wireless account, operators maintain control of the customer relationship.

The hosted Digital Entertainment Solution can be deployed quickly, since operators do not need to purchase any infrastructure. The solution components are:

• A branded, secure storefront similar to the operator's Web site or WAP deck
• Automatic, professional merchandising that prominently places top-selling content in the retail environment for the wireless customer's shopping convenience
• Complete licensing and Digital Rights Management (DRM)
• A wide variety of continuously updated content from all major labels and independent content providers
• Seamless integration with existing billing systems
