RURAL CELLULAR CORP. PURCHASES INTEROP TECHNOLOGIES SOLUTIONS FOR MOBILE INTERNET SERVICE
RCC, a full-service wireless company marketing under the Unicel brand name, serves more than 700,000 wireless customers in 15 states. Leveraging the Interop WAP gateway, Unicel will deliver MobileWebSM Internet service to its CDMA customers.

Interop Technologies is pleased to announce the newest release of our Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC), version 4.0. The new release is part of Interop's continuous effort to improve, and increase the reliability and quality of our products for our customers. The SMSC 4.0 is scheduled to be released in early August 2007. Existing hosted SMSC customers will automatically be transitioned to the new system and will be upgraded at no charge.
