INTEROP TECHNOLOGIES NAMES DON WILKINS AS
VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNICAL OPERATIONS

Newly Created Position Supports Sales Growth and Network Deployments

FORT MYERS, FL.—Jan. 29, 2008— Interop Technologies, a leading provider of advanced wireless technology solutions for the global wireless, packaged goods, and content industries, today announced that Don Wilkins has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, Technical Operations. At Interop, Wilkins is responsible for technical support, network operations, and information technology. He will specifically focus on enhancing company infrastructure to support the increasing number of Interop solution deployments in wireless networks in North America, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Wilkins has more than 30 years of global experience in telecommunications and technology with companies including Syniverse Technologies, Inc., VeriSign, AT&T Network Services (later Lucent Technologies), American Airlines SABRE Group, and Consolidated Rail Corp. (CONRAIL).

Most recently, Wilkins served as Vice President of Technology Services at Syniverse Technologies, Inc., where he was responsible for more than 400 technical personnel charged with software design, development, and technical support for the company’s suite of telecommunications products. Earlier he was Vice President of Operations and Engineering at VeriSign and led the effort to acquire and integrate a 100-person engineering unit supporting a prepaid telephone service application. Wilkins served six years with American Airlines, achieving the post of Senior Vice President Network Services. In nine years with AT&T, Wilkins was based in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia, directing IT projects from those countries. Previously he was Director of Network Operations for CONRAIL, a rail freight service in the Northeast.

Wilkins holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He also studied at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
