FORT MYERS, FL.—Mar. 17, 2009—Interop Technologies, the premier provider of core wireless solutions for messaging, device management, and connectivity gateways, today announced that Appalachian Wireless of Kentucky will migrate from the Interop Short Message Service Center 3 Series to the highly robust SMSC 4 Series. Due to explosive subscriber growth and related demand for messaging services, Appalachian Wireless is purchasing the Interop SMSC 4 Series to deploy on-site in Q1.
The improved technology, massive scalability, and support—as well as interfaces for users, customer care, billing, and reporting offered with the SMSC 4 Series—were key to Appalachian Wireless' decision to make the upgrade.
The SMSC 4 Series solution provides the world's highest throughput for SMSCs. The highly reliable solution enables wireless operators to add SMS capacity, as well as improve text message delivery for customers.
