Posted by Josh Wigginton, VP of Product Management on 3/26/15 4:50 PM

As our team gets ready for day two here in Atlanta for CCA's Global Expo, I wanted to take a moment to encourage you to attend all of the panel sessions during the Expo, but particularly to invite you to hear from my colleague, Lini Karmarkar, and myself.

Thursday March 26

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Managing the Transition from CDMA to LTE (The Bottom Line: Business/Finance)
Lini Karmarkar- Product Manager, Interop Technologies

This session will cover the necessary steps for a CDMA carrier to transition to LTE. Join industry experts to discuss SIM card management, joining GSMA, roaming options as they evolve to LTE and more. Speakers will address these underlying components from all areas of the transition.

2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Transitioning Critical Services to the Cloud (Technical)
Josh Wigginton- Staff VP, Product Management, Interop Technologies

For business and/or technical reasons, it may be more efficient to operate select services in the cloud, such as: LTE core, OSS, RAN, traffic management, small cells, and others. Moving away from NOC-based infrastructure to cloud-based infrastructure can produce a more efficient operational model for carriers, resulting in OPEX and CAPEX savings.

Hope to see you in attendance.
