After an exhausting and exciting week at Mobile World Congress (MWC), the stage has been set for high profile RCS rollouts this year. The news has surfaced that the big four US operators have declared 2015 to be the year that they roll out RCS. This has us in the RCS camp optimistic that our efforts have primed the market for all operators to follow suit in response to this increased pressure.

Sprint revealed its response to the growing OTT threat this week by launching its new RCS-based application, Messaging Plus. The downloadable app, which will be pre-loaded on Android devices going forward, lets subscribers communicate through text, instant messaging, group messaging, and video chat.
