Be a Product Manager at Interop

  • Position Location (Hybrid remote work): Fort Myers, FL

Position Description

The Product Manager takes complete ownership and oversight of all aspects of their products. They are responsible for both, product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with all necessary groups to create, market, and deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver market and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Develop business case and marketing plans
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Perform product demos to customers
  • Develop sales tools and collateral
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meeting
  • Act as a leader within the company

Education and Related Experience

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
  • 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry

Other Requirements

  • May require travel and/or being on-call
  • May require working in excess of 40 hours per week
  • Physical requirements:
    • Ability to sit at a desk for one or more hours at a time
    • Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
  • Verification of employment authorization status in the U.S. will be required upon employment
