FORT MYERS, Fla. – Sept. 5, 2024 – Interop Technologies, a global leader in mobile messaging technology, is excited to announce the appointment of Fred Farrell as director of sales Americas. In this role, Farrell will focus on driving sales growth throughout the Americas, with a particular emphasis on the rapidly expanding RCS Business Messaging (RBM) market.

Farrell’s appointment is timely, as the RCS market continues to revolutionize mobile messaging. Interop Technologies, recognized globally for its leading RCS platform, has earned multiple awards and patents for its innovative RCS technology. With Farrell, Interop is well-positioned to explore the growing opportunities within the mobile messaging ecosystem, supporting operators in enhancing their service offerings while unlocking new messaging channels.

Before rejoining Interop, Farrell served as client manager at World Wide Technology, where he developed strategic sales plans for global service providers. His previous role as executive director of sales at ExteNet Systems saw him lead domestic sales for fixed wireless and mobility LTE networks, significantly expanding customer portfolios and recurring revenue.

During his earlier tenure at Interop as vice president of business development, Farrell drove substantial revenue growth and built long-term client relationships. His return to the company underscores Interop’s commitment to leading the messaging market and strengthening its position in the Americas.
