FORT MYERS, Fla. & DUBLIN—Sept. 29, 2015—Interop Technologies™, a specialist in virtualized IMS infrastructure and IP services technologies for telecommunication service providers, has opened its European headquarters and dedicated network operations center to support the launch of Europe’s first end-to-end cloud-based IMS core and IP services suite. This first of its kind suite, branded CorePlusXSM, features innovative technology that allows operators to participate in the IP revolution and deliver the advanced services designed to capitalize on LTE networks.

A key promise of the LTE network is the enablement of advanced IP services such as WiFi calling, VoLTE, and RCS. However, launching these IP services in traditional turnkey configuration has proven problematic and cost prohibitive for operators. “This is precisely why we developed CorePlusX—to solve real market problems for operators burdened by the extraordinary cost, complexity and expertise requirements associated with IMS and advanced IP services,” said John Dwyer, CEO, Interop Technologies.

Interop Technologies - a proven US provider with 14 years' experience in virtualizing Telco-grade core technologies developed the powerful CorePlusX suite to shift these burdens away from the operator, and allow them to meet both their immediate and future service delivery needs. “Because CorePlusX is a complete end-to-end virtualized solution, operators can rapidly and cost-effectively launch profitable, in-demand IP services today on 2G and 3G networks, while laying the path for future advanced service evolution,” continued Dwyer. “The immediate benefits of reduced cost, complexity, and human capital requirements are matched equally by the future ability to seamlessly layer on new innovative features as the network, business and subscriber demand evolves. CorePlusX and Interop's IP expertise truly empowers operators to move in step with the market and innovate at the speed of technology.”

According to data from the GSMA1, mobile operators across Europe are continuing to invest in adding network capacity and in further building out LTE network coverage. After investing around €155 billion in the seven years to 2014, the GSMA believes this will need to increase further to €170 billion for the six years out to 2020. “This level of network investment is the catalyst for the IP Revolution and the European telecom market is preparing the path for the all-IP network explosion. Interop Technologies is committed to virtualizing the IP Revolution to allow operators of all types and sizes to not only participate, but thrive in the all-IP world. We are already in the deployment phase with several customers and plan to announce the roll-out of a major project later this year,” Dwyer concludes.

Interop Technologies will be exhibiting and meeting potential clients at the upcoming LTE Voice Summit in London September 28th and 29th. Executives will be available for in-depth briefings on the announcement and wider discussion on the virtualization revolution that cloud-based technologies are offering the European telecommunications market.

Later in the year, Interop Technologies will also be exhibiting and presenting at the MVNO Networking Congress in London November 2nd through 4th followed by the Rich Communication in Berlin on November 3rd and 4th.
