It’s day two of the CTIA show in Las Vegas, and the Interop team has been enjoying discussions with current and potential customers. The hot topic on operators’ minds is RCS—not whether they should offer this service to subscribers but rather how quickly they can get it up and running. The message is clear: over-the-top (OTT) services are having a dramatic impact on traditional messaging volumes, and operators realize they need to act now to maintain subscriber loyalty.
Given our record of success as a hosted solution provider for over a decade, Interop is the natural choice for a cloud-based RCS solution. With the ability to launch RCS with or without an IMS core, we enable operators to combat the OTT threat quickly and cost-effectively with a standards-based, industry-supported solution.
Yesterday we announced that Nex-Tech Wireless will implement our cloud RCS solution in addition to extending agreements for multiple mobile services. We’re pleased to extend our relationship with this long-term customer. Stay tuned for additional customer announcements.
